Cactus Kid

Just a random drawing with the use of a mouse, I like the idea, and it was executed fairly well, I guess.

I Am Error

My attempt at drawing with a mouse instead of a tablet on the day with a substitute, and all of my work completed. It turned out pretty kool, and it started a conversation with Mr. Bonica about retro games.

Web Assignment #5

How would you define beauty in photography?  What are the characteristics of beauty?  How can something ugly be photographed and be considered beautiful? Or can it?  Examples?

Beauty in photography can be defined several ways. Some may feel that it is dependent on the subject of the photo, but most of the time a great composition defines a photo's beauty. A photo captures one moment of time, so most people who watched that moment when it happened obviously didn't see all of the many details. A good photo can show these details, or show someone a viewpoint of something that they may not have looked at before. The characteristics of beauty are hard to define for anyone, and in my opinion everything in the world has beauty to it, if looked at in the right way. Some things look beautiful in a macro form, while others look good taken from faraway. Sometimes bringing certain things together can be beautiful, if these things compliment each other, such as backgrounds, lighting, water, or simply other objects. Things like garbage, mud, or a mangled rat may normally be considered repulsive, but when viewed close up with a good composition and lighting, people can find beauty in anything. Even if things are not ascetically beautiful, there is always the beauty in things provoking thought, or learning from something that may not be pleasing to look at.
